Laser Cutter Features Electronic Stereomicroscope
The TruLaser Station 5004 offers an electronic stereomicroscope. The microscope has been separated from the laser optics. The operator adjusts the monocular of the microscope to viewing needs. It no longer has to be oriented to the size of the part. Both cameras of the microscope offer three-dimensional exposure of work pieces that the operator requests. All moves are executed by the laser beam as the workpiece remains stationery. At the same time, the large work area is adapted to the needs of the flexible manufacturing of medical devices. If more space is required or bulky instruments need to be manufactured, either a break-through in the work plate can be used or the protection cover can be lifted upwards.

Drill for Aerospace and Industrial Gas Turbine Applications
The CoroDrill Delta-C R846 is a solid carbide drill designed to maximize performance in aerospace and industrial gas turbine applications. The tool provides accuracy, tool life, and productivity in HRSA machining. It features a positive-tip geometry that maintains a consistent curve along the cutting edge, which distributes cutting forces throughout the body. The tool has strengthened outer diameter corners, where cutting forces are strongest. A deeper flute design optimizes chip removal for evacuation from the cutting zone. To counter tool wear, the tool uses a bronze PVD coating. This is useful in materials such as Inconel and other Ni-based alloys. It is available in diameters ranging from 3mm to 12mm and handles maximum hole depths of up to five times the tool’s diameter.

Hybrid Laser with Quick-change Lens
The Orion 4020 is a hybrid-style CO2 laser cutting system that processes sheets up to 157"×78". It employs a three-mirror beam delivery system for alignment and stability. The standard laser cutting head accommodates a 5" or 7.5" water-cooled, programmable quick-change lens. A built-in capacitive height sensor maintains a constant distance between the head and the plate, compensating for unevenness in the material. The machine table is positioned at working height for access and visibility on three sides. Other standard features include automatic cutting gas selection and pressure control with servo valve; a high-pressure cutting head; a crash-protection system; a total power control feature that adjusts the laser power in relation to the cutting speed; and the GE Fanuc RF excited fast axial flow CO2 laser, which provides reproduction of programmed contours, producing acute angles at high speed. The laser power is matched to the vectorial speeds to achieve a constant cut width and a small heat-affected zone. All parameters, diagnostic, and start-up procedures are displayed on a single color screen. The 32-bit control features mathematical capabilities and an extensive material library. Also available as a Plus version, which provides automatic focal positioning and greater process control functionality. Optional CADMAN-L 3D offline programming software is available.

40,000 psi Lance Offers 60-second Cartridge Change
A 40,000 psi waterjet lance makes 60-second cartridge change and other operator-friendly features available for UHP applications. The NCG40-286 lance is lightweight and ergonomic, weighing just 13.5 lb. Its patented trigger design requires just a light squeeze to initiate the waterjet action, and the operator can dump pressure by pushing the trigger forward. A one-finger latch is designed to prevent accidental actuation, and the hand grip and shoulder stock are adjustable to suit the operator. When used with the Viper 40 self-rotating head, the NCG40-286 produces rotating waterjet action without compressed air.
