M.A. Ford's Twister HPD Drill Series Expanding -- Ideal for Shops' Low Volume, High Mix Machining

With productivity and service value in mind, M.A. Ford has added a stub flute length to their Twister® HPD drill family.

In addition to the 5xD flute length currently offered, a 3xD option has been added to the Twister® HPD family, both in solid and coolant-fed constructions. Just like the 5xD option, the 3xD is a cost-effective choice perfect for job shops that deal with low volume, high mix machining.

• Self-centering point that eliminates the need for spot drilling
• h7 OD tolerance for precision holes
• 3X Diameter with solid and coolant fed options
• ALtima® coating provides high toughness with low friction.
• 45° corner chamfer angle helps material break out on through hole applications and minimizes burs.
• h6 Shank OD Tolerance for shrink fit applications
• ≥ 4.1mm (.1614") manufactured to DIN 6537K
