Travers Tool Company, a cornerstone of the metalworking industry, is celebrating its 100-year anniversary this year.

Founded in New York in 1924 by David Trevas, Travers Tool Company was known for its commitment to quality, value, and availability. Through WWII and the 1950's Travers grew into a trusted metalworking supplier for the Northeastern region in the USA.

The sixties saw Barry Zolot introduce the inaugural catalog, expanding the company's reach nationwide.
Throughout the seventies and beyond, Travers Tool broadened its product line and embraced global sourcing. The eighties and nineties brought state-of-the-art warehouses and international branches, enhancing service and innovation.
"Our journey has been defined not only by a passion for excellence in product but also by a drive for reliability, continuous improvement, and problem-solving for our customers at every step," Bruce Zolot, current 4th generation family President explains.
Since the turn of the century, the company has expanded its service and product offerings, ensuring machinists always find the right tool.
