EasyHeat™ is offering the innovative AHB Cable, a pre-assembled, ready-to-install solution designed to safeguard metal and plastic supply pipes from freezing.
The core benefit of the AHB cable is its ability to prevent the often costly and dangerous damage associated with frozen, burst pipes. By generating heat, the cable ensures that water continues to flow even in extremely low ambient temperatures, capable of operating down to -40F (-40C).
Installation is designed for simplicity and convenience. No special wiring is required: the AHB cable plugs directly into a standard 120 VAC outlet that is protected by a Ground-Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI), or a GFCI-protected cord. To accommodate various needs, the cable is available in a wide selection of lengths, capable of protecting pipes ranging from 3 feet up to 80 feet.
The AHB cable is also built with energy efficiency and longevity in mind. It features a built-in thermostat that intelligently saves energy by only powering the heating cable when the temperature drops low enough to necessitate protection.
Furthermore, the cable is constructed using durable and tough components to ensure a long product life. For easy monitoring, a glowing indicator light is integrated into the plug, providing a clear visual confirmation that the system is successfully receiving power.
