This compact solution can effectively machine material up to 1-inch in diameter. Its unique design features a gate-shaped tool post that encircles the guide bush for precise front-side machining. This setup is robustly equipped with 8 turning tools, a 5-position sleeve holder, and a 7-spindle power-driven tool unit offering 5 modular cartridge positions. The wide range of available modular units, including Cross Drilling, Front Drilling, Slotting, Thread Whirling, and Polygon Machining, significantly enhances the machine's overall versatility and range of machining options.
Further maximizing efficiency, the SP-20 includes key features designed to boost productivity and finish quality. It is equipped with a full B-axis capability on the modular tool unit, allowing for complex angled holes and contoured surfaces without secondary operations.
A high-pressure coolant system is also integrated to ensure optimal chip evacuation and prolonged tool life, even when working with challenging materials like stainless steel or titanium.
