Precision and ease don’t always go hand in hand in metal fabrication, but the new NK23 MySpot resistance spot welder is aiming to change that. Distributed by the experts at International Technologies, Inc., this latest offering from Koyo Giken is designed to solve the age-old headaches of traditional welding: tedious setups, operator exhaustion, and the dreaded post-weld cleanup.

A standout feature of the NK23 series is its redesigned horizontal welding gun. For shops struggling to weld deep boxes or narrow channels, this configuration opens up access to geometries that were previously considered "impossible" to reach. If the job involves tall or deep weld points -- or even specific stud and nut welding -- the dual-arm models include a vertical gun to handle those specialized tasks.
Furthermore, the machine’s copper tables now feature a lifting function. This makes it much simpler to use jig electrodes that are custom contoured to the specific shape of a workpiece, ensuring a perfect fit every time.
Welding is physically demanding, but the NK23 significantly lightens the load.
The force required to move the welding arm has been slashed by up to 53%, while the effort to insert the H-gun has dropped by a staggering 91%. These ergonomic "floating" guns allow operators to position the welding tip effortlessly, which not only speeds up the process but also virtually eliminates the need for complex, time-consuming fixturing.

When it comes to the finished product, the MySpot uses high-speed technology to deliver a 0.001-second burst of current. This rapid-fire delivery minimizes heat transfer, resulting in welds that are nearly invisible. By reducing marring and indentation, shops can skip the extensive grinding and finishing that usually follows a standard weld.
The machine is also smarter than its predecessors.

The NK23 EZK touch panel automates welding parameters based on the material's thickness and type. It even includes advanced features like barcode scanning for offline part design and a graphical display that shows operators exactly where to weld. With built-in weld history storage, the system provides the traceability and production management data that modern industrial facilities require.
Whether you're building NEMA enclosures, automotive doors, or food display cases, the NK23 MySpot is built to deliver high-pressure power without the high-pressure stress on the operator.
